a few of my favorite things

I love using POSCA paint markers in all sizes, but mostly the pin-type smaller size. I recommend getting these colors.

I love using the 90lb Artist Loft paper because it holds water well and is easy to cut. I suggest getting these at Michael's. The Canson XL paper is also a great choice in the 140lb.

I use the Princeton brand brushes in a variety of sizes.

A white ceramic plate is great for mixing, but a butchers tray is also nice.

I keep a variety of pens and pencils around, here are some of my favorites:

Stabilo All black water soluble pencil

I prefer UHU Glue Stick for most things, but for watercolor and heavy weight paper, I love my Art glitter glue. It holds pretty quickly, but gives you a second to readjust and has a tiny applicator to get in all the tiny nooks.
